PCAP activists arranged public programs for the Global Coordinator in Korea in April and Cebu, Philippines in May. The programs introduced PCAP’s Total Ecology approach to global ecological issues.
Lectures in Busan, Seoul, Jeonju, Incheon, Anyong and Seosan attracted more than 280 people. The Far East Asia coordinator planned follow-up study circles in those communities.
In Cebu, three public lectures and television, newspaper and radio interviews were followed by a two-day Total Ecology workshop. A closing planning session identified local issues for activities by the new PCAP unit.

At Singapore’s Ecogreen and Inner Green Lifestyle Fair on April 11–12, PCAP participants distributed T-shirts, leaflets and promotional materials to visitors.
At a similar mid-April fair in Adelaide, Australia, activists explored the relationship between vegetarian eating and climate change.
In Portland, USA, PCAP partners took part in January’s Activist Roundup. A photographic display and leaflets encouraged support for their animal sanctuary.

PCAP partners in Mafi-Zongo started a nursery to prepare trees for transplanting around the dam’s catchment. The dam supplied drinking water to 26 villages.
The nursery brought care for the surrounding landscape into the work of protecting a vital community water source.
